Now
to register and manage the customer accounts goto the maintain option on
the top toolbar and select customer/ prospects
By clicking the following screen
would appear
The first box is for the entering of the customer id this
would be entered into the same way as the id was assigned to the chart of
accounts in numeric form then press tab the curser will automatically come to
the name box in which the name of the customer should be mentioned to recover by
name. Then fill all the fields required by the dialogue box bit all info is not
mandatory. You just have to fill the name and id section and the sales account
for saving an account of customer. Now click on the sales default button we
will se the following screen
Now cover all the fields inquired in the table the general
ledger sales account is very imp to fill for saving the post box no issued to
the customer. Then if the goods have to be transferred to the customer by any
mean , mention that mean select it from the drop down menu provided in the box
of “Ship via” . if the goods are resold or there is any resale activity mention
the voucher no of the resale receipt. Then mention the price level that has
been set for that particular customer. And then at then at the end mention the
discount offered to that customer by clicking on the arrow infront of Terms:
the following screen would appear
In this screen set the terms of discount and press ok the
system would automatically set the terms of discount.
Then click on the next flap named as Payments default
following kind of screen would appear
Now this section deals with the modes of payment by the
customer. The part deals with the payments made by credit card enter the card
holders name, address city and zip code country of origin of card the credit
card no and expiry date of the card. These all sections deal with payments made
by the credit card
In the next phase the payments can be accepted by
cheque just by selecting cheque from the
dropp box of payment method and then enter the cash at bank and cheque no.
If cash has been paid by the customer then select cash from the payment method
Then after mentioning the modes of payment click the the
flap of custom fields following window would appear
In this provide the fields required the extra or additional
info provided by the customer canbe mentioned here .
After filling all such fields click on the last flap of
history the following window would
appear
This shows the history of all the customers the last invoice
date last payments and statements of accounts the table shows all the period
history of the customer and total sales done to him and cash received by him
